Fix A Gig is a brand new online musicians directory dedicated to, promoting and simplifying the booking of bands and other live entertainment in the North East of England by putting bands and musicians in touch with local venues. This site is aimed at acts wishing to perform in County Durham, Tyne & Wear and Northumberland. The unique part of Fixagig is the way in which the promotion and booking process is taken care of automatically without bands having to go and show demo dvd's and cd's and there is no agent interaction to get in the way. Every part of it is controlled by the act and the venue. Fixagig just takes away all the hard work and helps promote the act and let the venues know a bit more about the act before they book. Acts Register Now for a 3 Month FREE TRIAL You are free to cancel at any time When an act registers with Fixagig, they will get their own web page where they can upload their logo, Biography, Song list, YouTube Video, 3 MP3/WMA demos, 10 Photos, a link to their website and organize their availablilty calendar. North East Bands Gigs Thumbnail Image Since this is not an agency there is no commission taken per gig and no interference with any of the booking process. All we ask is £5 per month membership fee per act after a 3 month FREE trial period to see if Fixagig is right for your act and to give your page a chance to get established. This is not an awful lot if you consider how much time and money you can save, not having to go out handing out demos or ringing around and hoping a venue will give you a chance. It can open up your venue list to places you never considered approaching. The act can change the contents of their page at any time by logging in to their admin section and filling out simple forms. They will also be able to use their availibilty calendar to keep track of upcoming gigs whether booked via Fixagig or not and have their gigs listed on the main gig list page. Also, none registered venues or talent scouts will be able to stumble accross the acts page and contact them via email. Venues Register Now TOTALLY FREE! Each venue that registers for FREE with Fixagig will have their venues full address, telephone number, website address and a map of their location advertised on the venues page. They will also get full access to all registered Acts' details. They will be able to browse the acts, listen to their demos, watch a video, view their availability and then phone, email, or offer a booking to the act that suits their needs using the fixagig booking process. If using the fixagig booking process, the act will receive an email with the booking offer, which they can accept or reject. If accepted, the full contact details and confirmation of booking details will be emailed to both parties. Should the act reject the venues offer, an email will be sent back notifying the venue. The venue can offer a booking to more than one act per night on a "first respond, first served basis". All gigs will be advertised automatically on the Gig Listings page. Fixagig can be a useful tool for venues when an act has cancelled at short notice. The venue can log in and find an available act quickly and easily to cover for that night.
